VarTerels’ Universe
VarTerels’ Universe - Part 1 - Unfolding
Synopsis
Stalked by a vengeful DiMensioner, twins Ari and Brie fight to save Myrrh, the last remaining fragment of Old Earth.
The fountain, Elcaro's Eye, sits in the upstairs room of a cottage at the edge of the Terces Wood on Myrrh. Its water ripples into stillness. On the surface the long-awaited Unfolding manifests its beginnings...
The DiMensioner, Seyes Nomed, a covert visitor, is back in the land from which its Guardian, Almiralyn, banished him as a child. Only her death, the destruction of her land, and acquisition of Evolsefil, the powerful crystal heart of Myrrh, will satisfy his lust for revenge.
Four young people become entangled in his diabolical web, one of whom, Seyes Nomad discovers, possesses powers that will enhance his chances to unravel Almiralyn's Myrrh and destroy it forever.
Synopsis
DiMensioner Seyes Nomed still wants revenge—the destruction of Myrrh and the death of its Guardian. But he was evicted from that last remnant of old Earth, his mission unaccomplished and his nephew, Esán, an unwilling companion.
Observing their arrival in the scorched DerTahan desert, the deadly Fire ConDra blaze downward toward the intruders.
Soldiers from another planet pursue twins Ari and Brie. The Guardian and their parents plan to separate them to keep them safe. Determined to stay together, the girls and their friend Torgin sneak away to rescue Esán
News of Esán’s extraordinary talents spreads through the Inner Universe with the speed of a meteor. Every subversive element and leaders on three planets already scheme to make him their own.
The Guardian of Myrrh agonizes over Esán’s kidnapping as she watches evil forces conspire to destroy all she holds dear.
The water in Elcaro’s Eye roils, then calms to reveal what she fears most.
The Unfolding continues...
Synopsis
The Unfolding races toward its climax. Intermingled within its currents, a galactic drama intensifies. On the surface of the fountain Elcaro’s Eye, pictures flash and disappear:
Esán and his friends, pursued by the Mindeco from RewFaar and a vicious creature from the planet TreBlaya, stumble over knee-high roots of giant trees in an effort to escape. A rumbling howl pushes them faster. If only they could teleport…
The raven Karrew sits on a makeshift perch, his injured wing taped to his side. Around him, ghosts of DerTah’s most violent criminals hover, empty eyes staring. Distantly, he remembers the life he once led… distantly…
Wolloh, High DiMensioner od DerTah, lays in an unconscious stupor. Only Relevart, the VarTerel of the Inner Universe, has the knowledge to help. Where is he?
Flames fill the fountain’s bowl. A long hiss echoes through Veersuni. The fire fades. Red eyes of death search the sanctuary. “Almiralyn, come to me.”
Water spills from alabaster palms erasing the image, but not the evil intentions of The MasTer’s Reach.
Synopsis
What set The Unfolding in motion is revealed.

Jaradee had no idea when she joined the Vasrosi that her influence would be felt for decades to come.
Floree finds herself enmeshed in the politics of the day and responsible for the life of the boy who will become the most powerful force for good in the Universe.
Rayn swears to save her people from annihilation, only to find herself facing an inner conflict, one that pits her against everyone she has ever loved.
VarTerels’ Universe - Part 2 - CoaleScent Cycle
Synopsis
A life changing opportunity confronts Brielle. If she accepts, she, and her new friend, Penee, will be hunted by all the dark forces of the Inner Universe.
Those who crave power are kidnapping their loved ones. VarTerels are disappearing.
And to complicate a situation already out of control…Time is leaking from the Universe.
At a cloud-enshrouded island on the Planet of Soputto, the Phantom Incirrata combines with the soul essence of the Sun Queen’s daughter to guard the island and its secrets. Secrets that can save Penee, Brie, and the Universe.
Synopsis
The Clenaba Rolas Solar System is on the brink of destruction. Three Corps Stones, powerful crystals that hold the planets to their orbits, have been stolen and transported back in time.
The Galactic Guardians provide Brie, Torgin, and Esan with the tools and the training to create a time tunnel and to live and perform in the dance world of New York City, 1969.
What adventures await them at the end of the tunnel? will they be able to navigate time and find, not only the Corps Stones, but also who stole them and why?
Synopsis
“Time is illusion—something but not.
It holds things together. I untie the knot."
The MasTer's Mocendi, Vygel Vintrusie, has a plan. If it works, his progeny will inherit the Inner Universe.
Can Brielle AsTar, her sister, and friends foil the plan? Or will The MasTer rise again and end Brie's existence for ever?
Only Time can answer this question.
Companion Shorts
Companion Shorts (novelettes) to the VarTerels’ Universe. Three of these are in the novels (both print and eBook), the others are downloadable.
At the back of each novel, both paper and eBook, is a page titled “BONUS” that provides guidance for downloading the Companion Shorts. The ‘Shorts’ are free, and are my thanks to you for reading my books.
On the bonus page you will find instructions for downloading each Companion Short. You can print the ‘Short’ to your home printer, read it on your computer screen, or download it to your eReader (as an EPUB file).
The ‘Short’ you find with each novel is a “non spoiler”. You can safely read it with that particular novel. You may like to download it to the reading app on your phone to have a ready read with you. You never know when you will have some unexpected idle time. Escaping into one of my worlds might save the day!
I started writing a Companion Shorts when I was deep into formatting my very first book. The other side of my brain was screaming for a chance to write while it was trapped for weeks in the analytical formatting software… orphans, widows, rivers, spacing - HELP!!! Creating a ‘short’ allowed me to survive. My partner has taken over the formatting (what a blessing!) but I continue to love writing Shorts. I use ‘Shorts’ to explore characters, places, or ideas that don’t quite fit into a VarTerels’ Universe novel.
Enjoy!
